IT'S TIME FOR
SOMETHING BETTER.

It's hard to imagine that the titans of industry started out small, however, that's where everything begins.

Big business has its place, however, without small businesses and entrepreneurs, there wouldn't be any big businesses.

After all, all businesses begin with an idea that is destined to change a life, a community...the world.

We support and protect the efforts of entrepreneurs and small business owners.

We believe in a government designed to "establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity".

The government needs to play a role in our lives but, more importantly, needs to understand its place.

We believe in a limited, fiscally responsible, government that reserves its right to intervene in matters of great importance.

Over the course of history, many countries have experimented with different economic systems. Without doubt, the most effective is capitalism.

That's not to say capitalism is perfect. It's not. It needs guidance and assistance and, yes, at times requires government regulation. Most importantly, though, it must have integrity.

The intent and application of socially conscious capitalism is the engine that will power the United States to remain the world's economic leader.

Our country was born out of oppression. In addition, it was built through oppression. There is no denying this.

That is why it is imperative we strive to uphold our ideals of freedom and justice for all in order to protect the civil rights of all our citizens.

Racism, prejudice, and bigotry must not be allowed to be normalized let alone thrive.

We will protect those groups most vulnerable to attack and stand with them, united.

Our fore fathers created an amazing document, the Constitution. It is simple, yet powerful. We cannot take it for granted.

It provides for certain protections of our civil liberties, but this mustn't be taken as blank slate to do whatever we want.

We acknowledge and accept that there have always been limitations built-in to these liberties that do not, in any way, contradict their original intent.

We are one. Our diversity is our strength. We do not need to fear it. To maximize this advantage, though, we must have practical measures in place to welcome one and all.

There are many opinions as to how we should treat others and what decisions we should make, especially as it pertains to our own lives.

We must protect the ability to choose our own way of life and not succumb to the pressure of any particular dogma.

Democracy requires knowledge. It requires an informed population. If these do not happen, then people are manipulated without them even knowing it.

To this extent, we must strive to have the finest schooling available. We also need to respect those who learn through life experience and pass on their knowledge.

Only by elevating the teachers, traditional and otherwise, can we ensure the continued prosperity of our democracy.

Not just at home, but on the world stage our country has been transformed over the last 100 years.

We are looked up to, respected, and we've earned it, but make no mistake that we are always a target.

While we shouldn't be the world's police, we need to respect, accept, and embrace the responsibility that comes along with being a world superpower.
